Here's the work order. I set it to High because water is reaching the cabinet, gave permission to enter, and attached your photo.

Agentic AI, Built In

Give Rusty the Job. It Handles Every Step.

Ask for something and Rusty figures out what to check, pulls the data from across GetDone and lines up the work in one go. You review the result instead of doing the legwork.

Right Inside GetDone

Ask a question. Get it done.

Rusty is the AI agent built into GetDone. It knows every work order, turn and tech at your property, and it can set up the work for you too.

Changes show up as a card first. Look it over, hit Commit, and you're done.

Ask Rusty

If It's in GetDone, Rusty Can Find It.

No more digging through reports or filtering five screens deep. Just ask.

What to Work On Next

Rusty ranks your open work orders by what matters most and tells you why each one made the list.

Turns at Risk

Find the make-readies that won't be ready for move-in before your new resident does.

The Right Tech for the Job

See who's closed the most similar jobs at your property in the last 90 days, and who already has too much on their plate.

Unit History

Catch the repeat leak before you send someone out for the third time.

Mold & Water Intrusion

Every open growth and moisture job in one list, with the ones nobody's picked up at the top.

Property Performance

Completions, days to close and backlog against last period, plus how you rank against your other properties.

Missed After-Hours Calls

See which emergency calls went unanswered and which never turned into a work order.

English or Spanish

Rusty answers in whichever language your team uses in GetDone.

Tell Rusty

Less Clicking. More Fixing.

Rusty can make changes too. Tell it what needs doing and it lays out the change for you. Nothing happens until you hit Commit.

Work Orders From a Photo

Snap a picture, add a sentence, and Rusty fills in the rest: unit, category, priority and entry.

Cover a Call-Out

Tech called out? Move up to 50 of their open work orders to someone else in one message.

Assign, Hold or Close Out

Assign a job, put it on hold for parts or mark it complete without digging for the work order.

Notes That Sync

Notes land in ResMan and notify your staff, same as if you'd typed them in the app.

PM Schedules in a Sentence

Describe the preventative maintenance you want across the portfolio. Rusty drafts it, and an admin turns it on.

Workflow Jobs, Step by Step

On a workflow job, Rusty walks you through whatever step comes next.

Built for the Field

Techs Can Just Text It.

No app open? Your techs can text the GetDone number to check their jobs, start or pause work, add notes and send up to 10 photos at a time. Closing out a job asks for a YES reply first, so nothing gets finished by accident.

You're Always in Control

  • Every change waits for your Commit

  • Rusty can only do what your role can do in GetDone

  • You'll see when a change updates ResMan or notifies staff

  • Cancellations stay in the app, where ResMan asks for a reason

Looking for help with after-hours resident calls? That's GetDone Dispatch.

FAQ

Questions About Rusty

Will Rusty change things without asking?
Never. Anything Rusty wants to change shows up as a card first. Hit Commit to make it happen, or Revise to tell Rusty what to fix. If the work order changed in the meantime, Rusty checks with you again before it saves anything.
Who on my team can use it?
Anyone with access to the property. Look for the Ask Rusty button in the bottom-right corner of GetDone. Rusty follows the same permissions as the rest of the app, so a tech sees their own work plus anything unassigned.
Does it work with ResMan?
Yes. Status changes, assignments and notes sync to ResMan just like they would from the app. The card tells you before you commit.
Does Rusty speak Spanish?
Sí. Rusty replies in whatever language is set on your GetDone account.
Can residents talk to Rusty?
Rusty is built for your team. Residents who call after hours get GetDone Dispatch, which answers the call and creates the work order for you.
